Privacy Policy

rhysobasi.store is run by me, Rhys Obasi, a sole trader in London, UK. I’m responsible for your data. Questions or requests: hey@rhysobasi.store. Last updated 3 October 2026.

What I collect and why

  • Purchases: your name, email, country, billing details and what you bought, to deliver your licence and download, give support, and keep tax records. Card details go to the payment provider, never to me.
  • Licences: your key and basic details of the computers you activate, to enforce the machine limit and let you manage it.
  • Free downloads, trials and Instagram link requests: your first name, email and what you asked for, to send it to you, and to stop a trial being used twice.
  • Support: the emails you send me.

The legal bases are contract (delivering what you bought or asked for), legal obligation (tax records), legitimate interests (support, security, improving the site and emailing customers about similar tools) and consent (the Meta pixel).

Emails

If you buy, start a trial, download a free tool or ask me for a link, I may email you about my tools. You can say no when you sign up, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Your download and licence key always arrive either way. These emails record opens and clicks.

Cookies

The site counts visits without storing anything on your device, and keeps a few small things in your browser so it works properly, such as your cookie choice and the link you arrived from.

The only advertising tracker is Meta’s pixel, which shows me whether my ads lead to sales. In the UK, EU and Switzerland it only loads if you say yes. Elsewhere it loads unless you turn it off. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd receives that data and uses it under its own privacy policy. Stripe also tells Meta when a purchase is made.

Who handles it

I don’t sell your data. It’s handled for me by my payment, email, hosting, database and messaging providers, and by Meta as above. Some are in the United States, covered by the safeguards UK law requires.

How long I keep it

Purchase records for six years, as tax law requires. Licences for as long as they exist. Mailing list details until you unsubscribe, after which I keep only your address so you’re never emailed again. Everything else only as long as it’s needed for the reasons above.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask me to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email me and I’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
